Nice post, I’ll have to agree with you on that one. However, the term is most often coined as living from payday to payday without a plan for any of that money beyond the present…and that’s what I’m talking about here.
Obviously everyone literally lives paycheck to paycheck just as from heartbeat to heartbeat. I suppose another subject line or theme for this article could be “13 disadvantages for living without a plan” because I consider the two pretty close in context. I’m just taking advantage of the common phrase I suppose.

As long as I am in the wealthbuilding (accumulation) phase, I am living paycheck to paycheck. When I have done that long and well enough, I will be financially independent, where my pile of assets can pay me enough to cover expenses, and perhaps more than a work paycheck. That’s the distribution phase. So I proudly live paycheck to paycheck until there is no more paycheck. LOL
