Daily Debt Journal 24
Yay! Mommy is home! You know, it’s just amazing how much being super-tired allows us to reason our way into spending more than we need to. During the road trip to go get mommy from the airport, (with 5 hours of sleep in over 2 days) it just made a lot more sense to buy lunch at a restaurant to "welcome mommy home". Well, we all know good and well that I was just too tired to care about packing lunches or to bring our own snacks.
Sometimes saving money does seem like work, but only because we’ve made it feel more normal to take the more expensive/convenient shortcuts in life. It’s the little extra effort that you put into things that really saves money. Next time, I’ll try harder to pack lunches before the road trip.
