We just had to do something different because plastic simply wasn't working for us. I really do think it FEELS different when handing over cash as far as the emotional side. Probably more-so from the wife than for me, but I've noticed she's not as ready just to drive by the coffee shop anymore now that she's using cash. But I always say, find the system that works for you. So keep it up. I read somewhere that habits take 21 days to form. Maybe it's longer with money. Either way, progress is progress!
